It’s officially summer!! And you know what I love about this season? Blockbuster movies.
So far, I’ve seen Star Trek on IMAX. But It didn’t seem like I was watching on an IMAX screen. It was way too small compare to the other IMAX theaters I’ve been to. Other than that, I also saw Night At The Museum 2 and Up! both at Rave Motion Pictures. The best movie theater here in Las Vegas.
All films were enjoyable. But my absolute fave from the three has to be Up! It was funny, touching, artistic, and overall, it’s a heartfelt film with a great message. Viewers from any age can get something out of it. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, go check it out. And I suggest you watch it in Digital 3-D because it will look a hundred times better and livelier. Though I think if you live in the UK, you won’t be able to see it in theaters until October. Do you guys have Digital 3-D there?
Anyways, here’s a picture of me outside the theater waiting for the showtime of Up! (Sorry about the large size). The assigned theater for our schedule wasn’t 17. It was 16. We were about half an hour early. We could’ve gone inside the theater but decided to chill outside the lounge area for a little while. And when we finally went inside the theater, we were the only ones there. Typical.

The halls of the theater…that primary concession stand is barely used. People buy their snacks in the front/main stand. And if the picture looks dark and bit too small, I apologize again. The original photo was way too huge and this was the best size for the blog.

I’m also looking forward to seeing Transformers 2, Ice Age 3 and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince once they are released in theaters. Gosh…this will cost me to lose all the cash I’ve earned from the sidelines I took during the beginning of the year. But then again, in the end it’s usually worth it especially if the movie delivers its full potential. Good thing most of the movies I want to see have a two week interval between them.
On the day I watch Transformers 2, I might do a little “A Day In The Life” documentary about it. I’ve been looking through the thread of the same name on Dougiefied and it looks like a fun project. Hopefully, my day doesn’t bore you guys. xD
So until then…
